3rd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Social Sciences (ICETSS 2025).
Organized by Women University Swabi in collaboration with the Global Institute of Social Sciences Research (GISSR), Sustaining the Humanity, and the District Youth Affairs Swabi and District Administration Swabi the conference brought together leading scholars, researchers, and students from across Pakistan.
More than 80 thought-provoking research papers were presented on critical issues including mental health, academic stress, emotional intelligence, gender equity, and social resilience highlighting the academic strength and critical thinking of both faculty and students.
The Vice Chancellor specially acknowledged the commendable contributions of Ms. Faiza from Youth Affairs and Mr. Abdul Aziz representative from the District Youth Department, and lauded the Department of Psychology for their exceptional planning and execution of the sessions.
We also sincerely appreciate the District Administration Swabi and the District Youth Affairs Swabi for consistently conducting such meaningful academic and developmental activities for youth, creating opportunities for learning, growth, and engagement.
Prominent experts like Dr. Ahmad Ali, Dr. Hussain, Dr. Sanaullah, Dr. Sajid (IER), Dr. Muhammad Ishaq (AWKUM), and Dr. Sameer Ahmad (SBBU Sheringal) shared deep insights into social challenges, mental health, and the evolving role of social sciences in shaping inclusive communities.
With vibrant discussions on the intersection of psychology and sociology, education reforms, and youth well-being, ICETSS 2025 offered students a valuable opportunity to engage with national and international scholars and enhance their academic exposure.
In her concluding remarks, Dr. Ghazala Yasmeen expressed her gratitude to all participants and partner institutions, calling the conference “a milestone in the academic journey of Women University Swabi.” She emphasized the importance of such platforms in promoting research-driven solutions for social development and envisioned long-term academic collaborations.
