Journalist Competitions 2025 at District Abbottabad

An award ceremony for Journalist Competitions 2025 was held on 3 July 2025 at the Abbottabad Press Club, organized by the Abbottabad Union of Journalists in collaboration with the District Youth Office, focusing on the theme of environmental protection. Journalists competed in Print, Electronic, and Social Media categories. Top winners included Muhammad Iqbal Saghar, Naeem Awan, and Nasir Abbasi.

The event was attended by District Youth Officer Bushra Masroor, PFUJ officials, and local media leadership. Speakers stressed the importance of environmental journalism, highlighting challenges like climate change, urban drainage issues, and ecological degradation in the region.

Cash prizes and shields were presented to the winners, while commemorative shields were given to key guests. MPA Sardar Rajab Ali Abbasi assured that the winning reports will be brought to the provincial assembly and cabinet forums for further attention.
