The District Youth Office Lower Chitral, in collaboration with the Department of Botany, Government Degree College Chitral, successfully organized an awareness program in connection with World Soil Day, celebrated globally every year on 5th December.

This year’s universal theme, “Healthy Soil for Healthy Cities,” highlights the essential role soil plays in sustaining clean, green and resilient communities.

To mark the day, an awareness walk was held within the premises of the college, featuring active participation from professors, faculty members and a large number of students. Distinguished professors delivered valuable lectures emphasizing the importance of soil conservation, sustainable urban planning and responsible environmental practices.
