Under the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper, Mr. Naveed Akbar, and the Director of the Directorate of Youth Affairs Peshawar, Dr. Nauman Mujahid, a one-day session on “Youth Leadership for an Educated and Progressive Society” was organised by the District Youth Office Dir Upper in collaboration with the Sports Office, the Lawari Support Organisation, and the District Administration Dir Upper on 25 November 2025 at Government Model Primary School Panakot.

Guest Speaker Mr. Gul Ahmad Wardag delivered an insightful talk on the topic, highlighting the importance of youth leadership in building a knowledgeable and progressive society. Mr. Sher Ali Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper, attended the event as the Chief Guest and also addressed the participants.

A question-and-answer session was conducted, allowing students and teachers to engage with the speakers. In addition, 46 special awards were presented to teachers who performed exceptionally well throughout the year and demonstrated outstanding dedication to education.

Furthermore, 5 awards were given to students who secured first position in the provincial-level debate competition, while 18 awards were presented to students who achieved first position in district-level sports competitions.

Teachers and students expressed their gratitude to the District Youth Officer for arranging and fully financing this remarkable event, which provided valuable learning and strong motivation for the youth.

Other notable guests included Mr. Sadiq Ullah, Sports Officer Dir Upper, Mr. Sangeen Khan, Chairman Panakot , Mr. Seemab Ali Khan, Chairman Rehankot, Mr. Kamal Salar, and Mr. Akhter Muneer, along with principals and faculty members from various institutions.
